Prof. Leszek Adam Dobrzanski is a Full-time Professor of Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering , Nanotechnology, Medical and Dental Engineering in the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland and a Supervisory Board Chairman, Project Manager and Principal Investigator in the Medical and Dental Engineering Centre for Research, Design and Production ASKLEPIOS Ltd in Gliwice, Poland. He is a Doctor Honoris Causa of the Universities in Bulgaria, Hungary and Ukraine. He is a Fellow of the Materials Science Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences PAS and the President of the Metallic Materials Section of this Committee. He is a Vice President and a Fellow of the Academy of Engineers in Poland. He is a foreign Fellow of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering Sciences and the Slovak Academy of Engineering Sciences. He is the President of the World Academy of Materials and Manufacturing Engineering, and a President of the International Association of Computational Materials Science and Surface Engineering. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Achievements in Materials and Manufacturing Engineering, Archives of Materials Science and Engineering and Open Access Library.

Prof. Elias Siores
Provost and Director of Research and Innovation,

Professor Elias Siores is the Provost and Director of Research and Innovation, Bolton University. Educated in the UK (BSc, MSC, MBA, PhD) and pursued his academic career in Australia (Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne) and Asia (Hong Kong, Dong Guan) before returning to Europe (UK) as a Marie Curie Fellow. His R&D work concentrated on advancing the science and technology in the field of automated Non-Destructive Testing and Evaluation including Ultrasound, Acoustic Emission, and Microwave Thermography. His recent R&D work focuses on Smart / Functional Materials and Systems development. In this area, he has developed Electromagnetic, Electrorheological, Photovoltaic and Piezoelectric Smart Materials based Energy Conversion Systems for Renewable Energy, Medical, Health Care and Wearable Devices.  He has published over 300 publications including 8 Patents . He has been a member of editorial boards of international journals and a Fellow of IOM, TWI, IEAust, SAE and WTIA. He has served on Board of Directors of a number of research centres worldwide including UK, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong, all associated with the Bio-Nano-Materials field. He has received 15 awards in his career for R&D achievements.

Prof. Vijay K. Arora

Vijay K. Arora, with Ph. D. from the University of Colorado, held distinguished visiting appointments at the University of Illinois, the University of Tokyo, National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, the University of Western Australia, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).  He was a UTM Distinguished Professor (Grade A) while serving Wilkes University as a Professor of Electrical Engineering, from where he retired on August 31, 2017. He is Founder President of VSG International, the Virtuous Services Group, based in Colorado, U. S. A.., with subsidiary office in New Delhi, India.  Arora has visited several international institutions on short-term consulting assignments and enjoys the privilege of knowing the cultures and educational methods being practiced around the globe.  In recognition of his research, he is invited to give presentations at several international scientific gatherings.  His research interests include nanoelectronics, engineering management and global educational paradigms.  Professor Arora has authored or co-authored over 250 papers on scientific, educational, and management issues. He chaired EScienceNano2012, NanoTechMalaysia2010 NanoSingapore2006, and ASEE Mid-Atlantic Conference1996.  Professor Arora is on the Distinguished Lecturer Program of the IEEE Electron Devices Society and APS Forum on Industrial and Applied Physics. Prof. Nezar Hassan Khdary

Nezar H. Khdary obtained his PhD from the University of Southampton, UK 2005. He is a member of Royal Society of chemistry (MRSC,CChem), American Chemical Society, The New York Academy of Sciences, Saudi Chemical Society and Saudi Computer Society,. In 2012 he nominated an assistant professor visitor at Northwestern University. Currently Dr. Khdary is associate professor at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology) KACST, Saudi Arabia. His interest in nanoparticles synthesis, modification and applications, public health and computer graphical software. Dr. Khdary joined work in the field of toxicology in 1991 at Forensic and Toxicology Center in Makkah, Ministry of Health (MOH) Saudi Arabia,. He held several positions during continued to work at MOH until 2001, where he had the opportunity to complete his studies for PhD. In 2005, he received a doctorate degree from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom After his return to Saudi Arabia he worked in public health beside that, he continuously involved in scientific research through the Toxicology and Research Center in Makkah, where he developed, Patented and published new method of using duel functionalized nanoparticles for drug detection and scavenging form drinking water.

Dr. Khdary currently, continuing his research in the field of innovation of new inexpensive materials to deal with arsenic contamination in water, which becomes a global problem. In addition to that, he engages to develop new nano-materials for environmental and medical applications. Dr. Khdary obtained number of patents and several thanks certificates and honorary plaque and excellence awards

Lavinia BALAN

Lavinia BALAN obtained the PhD degree from the University Henry Poincaré in Nancy, France, in 2005. Her PhD was devoted to the elaboration of an original material for the anode of Li-ion batteries.

After a post doctorate in Orleans and then in Mulhouse, she joined the Department of Photochemistry (DPG) of Mulhouse in 2006 as a CNRS Senior Researcher. She opened a new field of research in this laboratory, viz. the photoassisted synthesis of metal nanoparticles and metal-polymer nanocomposite materials.

Since December 2009, L. Balan joined the Institute of Materials Science of Mulhouse (IS2M) CNRS-UMR 7361. She has published more than 100 papers, 4 book chapters and 5 patents. Her lines of research are concerned with (photo)chemical synthesis of metal/polymer nanocomposites and design, customization and characterization of metal nanoparticles and nanocrystals (quantum dots) suited for advanced applications in the fields of optic, photonics, plasmonics, information storage, imaging or biology.

Antonio Tejeda is a researcher at CNRS, the main French Research Center. He received his PhD at Autonoma University in Madrid in 2003. He worked at Denis Diderot University in Paris under a Marie Curie Fellowship, and obtained a tenure position at CNRS in 2004, where he presentlyworksin the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides since 2014. He combines this technique with an intense research activity using synchrotron facilities. His expertise areasare low dimensional systems, surfaces and interfaces. He studies there the relationship between atomic structure and electronic correlation in phase transitions as well as the tailoring of the electronic properties by structural modification. He is also invested in broad audience manifestations, having written for instance the book “Photoemission in solids: concepts and applications”.

Prof. Ajay Kumar Mishra

Ajay Kumar Mishra is a full Professor at the Nanotechnology and Water Sustainability Research Unit at College of Science, Engineering & Technology, University of South Africa, Florida Science Campus, South Africa and also a “Fellow” member at “Royal Society of Chemistry” UK. He received his B. Sc, M. Sc., degrees in 1997 and 2001 respectively from Purvanchal University Jaunpur, India and M. Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in 2003 and 2007, respectively, from The University of Delhi, India. From March 2006 to September 2009, he was postdoctoral fellows at various South African Institutes/Universities. In addition, he was appointed as “Senior Lecturer” in October 2009 at the Department of Applied Chemistry, University of Johannesburg, South Africa where he was promoted to “Associate Professor” in November 2011 until December 2014. Recently, he was appointed by University of South Africa as “Full Professor” since January 2015. He is also working as “Adjunct Professor” at Jiangsu University, China. His research interests include synthesis of multifunctional nano-materials, nano-composites, biopolymer and/or petrochemical based biodegradable polymers, polymers based materials/composites, smart materials, CNT and graphene based composite materials and water research. He has authored over 100 scientific papers. He has hosted several visiting researchers/scientists/postdocs in his group. He has also developed a number of collaborations worldwide. He has delivered a number of including Plenary/Keynote/Invited Lectures. For his outstanding research profile, he was awarded a number of international awards. Professor Dr Hui Tong Chua, PhD (NUS), M.Eng. (NUS), B.Eng (1st Class Hons, NUS), is Professor of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering and the Chemical Engineering Program Chair at the University of Western Australia (UWA). His research interest covers Heat and Mass Transfer, Thermodynamics, Process Engineering and Waste Heat Utilisation. Seven of his international peer reviewed journal articles are among the top 1% percentile in the field of Engineering in terms of citation.

One of his key research achievements is the successful spinning off of his catalytic methane cracking technology, now known as the Hazer Process, as Hazer Group Ltd., which raised $5m in their Initial Public Offering on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:HZR) in November 2015.

Hui Tong is also a China Shanxi Province Hundred Man Distinguished Professor at the Taiyuan University of Technology, Shanxi Province, China.

Hui Tong holds a Ph.D., an M.Eng. and a B.Eng.(1st Class Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

He is author of more than 500 technical papers, mainly oriented to material science engineering, the brittle failure of different materials, notch effect, the application of the finite element method to the structural analysis, the mechanical behaviour of metallic materials, the fatigue performance of notched components as well as the reliability of welded, bolted and bonded joints. Since 2003, he has been working on different aspects of the Structural Integrity discipline, by mainly focusing attention on problems related to the static and fatigue assessment of engineering materials and components. In particular, he has attempted to devise engineering methods suitable for designing components (experiencing different kinds of stress concentration phenomena) against fatigue as well as against static failures.

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey in Solid State Physics. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University, Diyarbakir, Turkey.  He shifted to Firat University in 1980, and became professor in 1996, and He has already been working as professor.

Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University in 1999-2004. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M.Sc theses. He is also Technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of   significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. Full time researcher in Anotsu Research Institute for Environmental Restoration (ARIER), Mie, Japan from 7/2007- 4/2009). From 5/2009 joined TATI University College, Terengganu, Malaysia as a lecturer, became the Dean of Chemical Engineering Technology, at the same university from 8/2012 to 2/2013. From 3/2013 till 12/2014; he was promoted as the Dean of Research Management Centre (RMC), in the same university.
