Dr Attila Kardos graduated with honours from Albert Szent Györgyi Medical University, Szeged Hungary. His cardiology training was completed in Oxford. His PhD work was carried out in Bad Krozingen and Freiburg as well as Tubingen Germany. He was a clinical research Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and a Normal Collisson Scholar at the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine Oxford University where he has been also appointed as a clinical lecturer. Dr Attila Kardos is a senior consultant cardiologist in Milton Keynes University Hospital and has been awarded a Professorship at Buckingham University in the United Kingdom. He has been playing a leading role in developing cardiology services in the Trust including Cardiac CT angiography, advanced echocardiography, cathlab services and pacemaker implantation services. He is the clinical lead in multimodality cardiovascular imaging in the Hospital. He has been the clinical director for Research & Development and recently the vice chair. He is a lead researcher in cardiology and is the principle investigator in several clinical trials. He has been supervising MSc and PhD students on a regular basis. Dr Kardos is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians London, and the European Society of Cardiology. He is a member of more than 10 national and international Societies. Dr Kardos is a reviewer of a number of high impact Journals and has been a member of the AHA and ESC Scientific Program committee. Her major interest includes neurophysiological assessment of neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy motor neuron disease, and peripheral neuropathy. She has also been part of various research works related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. She has also developed expertise in intraoperative neuromonitoring in orthospine surgeries. Various studies related to field of neurophysiology and physiology have been published as well as presented by her in national conferences.

Prof. Devendra K. Agrawal earned M.Sc.(Chemistry) in 1973 andPh.D.(Biochemistry) in 1978 fromLucknowUniversity,India. Following his tenure as a Clinical Biochemist at King George’s Medical College, Lucknow, India, Prof. Agrawal moved to Canada and earned Ph.D.(MedicalSciences) in 1984 fromMcMasterUniversity,Canada followed by a PostdoctoralFellowship at the University of British Columbia,Vancouver, Canada. In 1985, he was recruitedas an Assistant Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, Nebraska, USA where he rose to the rank of Full Professor in 1997. Prof. Agrawal also earnedMBA in 2004andMS(ITM) in 2005 fromCreighton University, Omaha, Nebraska, USA. In 2009, Prof. Agrawal founded the Center for Clinical & Translational Research at Creighton University, which later developed into an independent Department. Prof. Agrawal is the Founding Chairman of this Department.
Prof. Agrawal has been elected to the membership of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Fellow of the American Heart Association, Fellow of the American Physiological Society, and Fellow of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences. Dr Yasir Parviz is a fully trained interventional cardiologist with experience of working in the leading health care systems of UK, Canada and the USA.He is fully competent in coronary interventions and has performed over 2000PCIs. He has extensive experience in primary and salvage angioplasty, in treating chronic total occlusions, bifurcation lesions, vein graft disease and restenosis. Furthermore, he is proficient in techniques including direct coronary atherectomy, rot-ablation, and the use of distal protection devices. He is competent in the use of intravascular imaging like IVUS, OCT and developing novel techniques in this field. He has received dedicated training in coronary imaging and physiology from Columbia Medical Center and Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) New York, USA.
He has not only certificate of completion of training (CCT) in medicine / cardiology and intervention from the UK. He has received interventional fellowship training from accredited programs in UK, Canada and the US. His experience in cardiology, internal medicine and having a particular interest in renal disease patients will allow the holistic care of patients with complex disease process. His techniques and collaborative skills will be an asset to this unique group of patients and we will be able to manage these dialysis dependent patients in collaboration with other health care providers. He has learnt the skills of imaging and physiology guided coronary interventions with minimal use of contrast and all novel techniques, not available in UAE. He has experience in the cardiovascular assessment of patients undergoing renal, liver and pancreas transplant.
