Prof. Je Kan Adler-Collins

Dr. Je Kan Adler-Collins was born in the United Kingdom and entered the British Military at the age of 17 where he trained as a Registered Nurse in the Royal Army Medical Corps. Medically discharge in 1990 he developed an interest in Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) and how they could relate to nursing practice and education. He served on a Government Steering Group which started him on his life work of researching standards and teaching in Complementary Alternative Medicine and healing. His studies have taken to many different cultures and countries and in 1995 he became ordained as a Japanese Buddhist priest of Shingon Shu ( Koyasan) and brought his Buddhist research into his practice of a nurse in terminal care. He took his PGCE at Bath University College in 1997 and Masters in Education in 2000 at Bath University in Education with a focus of educational curriculum design and moved to Japan in 2000 where he build his own temple and healing centre in the mountains of Kyushu, South Japan. He worked with living action research approach to education and life enquires and completed his PhD at Bath (Education) university in 2007. Working as an associate professor of nursing at Fukuoka Prefectural University he introduced the first healing curriculum for Japanese nursing using safe touch, and body work. In 2007 he moved to the Associate professor position of a health promotion centre at Fukuoka Prefectural University, Japan with a focus on developing community training and course in health care and CAM resulting in opening the first end of life care centre ran by community therapists for their own community. His nursing CAM curriculum was approved for Master of Science award in 2008. He was appointed Director of Education for the Holistic Nursing Association in 2010. In August of 2010 formed a Non-Profit Organization, Integrative, Care, Education and Research Association with a focus on hospice and palliative care in the community. In 2015 he worked as senior consultant for the Ministry of Health in Oman, In 2017 He was appointed as Professor Of Global Health and Nursing at The University of Human Environments in Ehime Prefecture ,Japan. He travels the world lecturing on creating healing and therapeutic spaces both in the classroom and in nursing practices with a particular interest in energy healing research, curriculum development, e-learning, blended learning and MOOC design within China, Tibet, Indonesia and Thailand using living action research accounts of practice as evidence of learning. Dr Goh Chye Tee,

Dr GOH Chye Tee is the Director of NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic and Director of Biomedical Sciences/Chinese Medicine Program at the School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Prior to these appointments, he was an Associate Professor at the Nanyang Business School and Director of Centre for Continuing Education at the University.
Dr Goh began his traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) pursuit in the midst of his career as an accounting professor in the Business School. Currently he is still a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and CPA Australia. During his tenure as an accounting professor, Dr Goh won the McGraw-Hill excellence award in accounting education using technology, and was awarded the Long Service Medal by the President of the Republic of Singapore. He published widely and also served as consultants and advisor to many institutions including Singapore TCM College and the School of Business & Industrial Management at Jimei University, Xiamen China.
Dr Goh studied Chinese Medicine at the Singapore TCM College and qualified as a Singapore Registered Physician in 1999. He continued his study at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, China and obtained a PhD in TCM in 2004. After qualified as a TCM physician, Dr Goh provided free services to a community clinic and was awarded Certificate of Merit for his meritorious services as a volunteer physician. He also served as a member of the Accreditation Committee and an examiner at the Singapore TCM Practitioners Board in the Ministry of Health, Singapore.
While managing the academic program and teaching clinic as Directors, Dr Goh is also a Consultant Physician providing TCM services focusing on acupuncture for pain management, chronic gastritis and obesity. He also taught TCM to medical doctors and guided students on internship during clinical practices.

Dr. Alain L Fymat is a medical-physical scientist and an educator. He was educated at the University of Paris-Sorbonne and the University of California at Los Angeles. He is the current President/CEO and Professor at the International Institute of Medicine and Science with a previous appointment as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Professor at the Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine. He was formerly Professor of Radiology, Radiological Sciences, Radiation Medicine (Oncology), Critical Care Medicine, and Physics at several U.S. and European Universities. Previously, he was Deputy Director (Western Region) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (Office of Research Oversight), and Director of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center and for a time Acting Chair of Radiology at its Loma Linda, California Medical Center. Dr. Mohammad bagher Rezaee is Iranian scientist. He did his Ph.D. and Research work on Photochemistry or chemistry (Ag). And up to now his personal life for doing research with his co-worker on cultivation, extraction, formulation and produce natural products out of medicinal and Aromatic plants. So they designed research apparatuses and pilot of essential oil distillation and herbal extraction. Published 6 Book in Persian language and international of two chapters of bio-activity on herbal extracts or essential oil. Finish lots of thesis with different topics on MSC and PhD with his students. Publish many papers on this topic in national and international (ISI) journals. Know his positions are as a scientist in Research Institute Forests and Rangelands (RIFR) -Tehran-IRAN, Chairman of "Union Medicinal plants of Iran" (UMPI) and chair member of "Iranian medicinal plants society" (IMPS). Dr. Abdul Matin
Dr. Abdul Matin received his PhD from Birkbeck, University of London followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship from School of Medicine, Southampton University Hospital, Southampton, United Kingdom. His long-standing research interests include the epidemiology and pathogenic mechanism of emerging parasitic diseases with special interest on role of Blood-Brain Barrier in Central Nervous System infections. Using multi-disciplinary approach he is looking for potential novel synthesized compounds or nanoparticles or/and obtained from plants or insects to discover potential drug candidates or/and for drug delivery system to alleviate the burden of life threatening infections. He is conducting research using state-of-the-art technologies in the field of infectious diseases. He is recipient of various international and national awards, honors and grants. He is currently Associate Professor at Majmaah University, Saudi Arabia. He has published >36 research articles in reputed journals and is serving as an editorial board member and reviewer for various international and national reputed journals and funding agencies.
